Your wedding ceremony should be as beautiful, loving, creative and joyous as the relationship with your loved one. When your wedding or Civil Partnership ceremony reflects the essence of who you are, both as individuals and as a couple, it deepens the sense of commitment and love that you make and so creates a beautiful beginning to your new life together.
I can conduct ceremonies in a house, in the woods, in a garden, on the beach or in a marquee… The choice is yours! I can create with you a ceremony that reflects the essence of your relationship: it can be as flamboyant or as simple as you wish!
As part of the preparation I will give you both some questions to answer about yourselves and the relationship to help both me and you to focus on the heart of the ceremony. You may already have written some personal vows, if not I can give you ideas for this if you choose to exchange vows.
You may already have a clear idea of the form you would like your ceremony to take. If not, I will write a draft ceremony as a starting point. When you are happy with the ceremony we will have a rehearsal before the big day.

I also create ceremonies for people who want to make a relationship commitment without getting legally married. This might take the form of a hand-fasting. I also do ceremonies for couples who want to renew their commitment to each other.
NB Currently in England and Wales Interfaith Ministers are not able to be Registrars. (In Scotland the law is different.) This means that your ceremony with an Interfaith Minister has to be in some way separate to your civil ceremony with a Registrar which is not allowed any spiritual content. There are many creative ways of doing this, contact Emily to discuss options.
